Towers Crescent starts to grow - Washington Business Journal:

D.C.-based and will build a 13-story, 295,000-square-footg Class A structure at the site on Towers Crescent and the building will include a covere pedestrian bridge that connects to Tysons Corner a shopping complex with 300 storesand restaurants. "Ws see great potential for a property of this high caliber inTysonsd Corner," said Robert Quadrangle's chairman, in a statement. "With the planned extensio of Metrorail, Tysons Corner will continue its evolution towardzs a dynamicurban center." Work is expected to be finished on the buildinhg in the spring of 2009.
It neighbors a trio of offic buildings also owned by Quadrangle and AEW thattotal 750,000 square feet of Class A space. On anothee part of the property, Quadrangle and AEW are seekinfg approvals from Fairfax County that would allowa the construction ofa 900-unit residential developmenft and about 90,000 square feet of retaikl and restaurant space. The proposal is currently going throughy a site plan and Quadrangle and AEW hope to startf the project in the fallof 2008.
