Jackson, EPA’s administrator, and Denver Mayor John Hickenloopertoured Highlands’ Gardens Village, a 27-acre mixed-usde project on the original site of Elitch Gardens amusementf park. In 2005, Highlands’ Garden Villager was awarded the EPA National Aware for Smart Growth Achievemenft in the category ofOverall Excellence.
