Children's Hospital CEO Roger Oxendale resigns - Pittsburgh Business Times:

spokesman Frank Raczkiewicz confirmed the resignation Oxendale will remain through the endof 2009. He also is resigning the presidencyof Children’s foundation, a position he has held sincre 2008. Oxendale, who was traveling Tuesday was notimmediately available. He joinef the hospital 14 years ago asits CFO. He becamde COO in 2000 and replaced Ron Violi as president and CEOin 2005. Oxendales dropped the president title when he took the post at the foundationjlast year.
Children’s spokesma Marc Lucasiak said the organization will be conducting a searchn to fill the foundation position but will not continue the CEO Christopher Gessner will continue to serve as presiden tof Children’s Hospital. He was appointed in 2008 after eight yearx as chiefoperating officer. Children’sa in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood May 2. It launchedd a $100 million capital campaign last fall to help payfor it.
